Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Entire refund excluding processing charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for card payments
Conditions: Request must be made in writing through email or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund amount
Conditions: Valid justification required; administrative costs incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No refunds provided
Exception: Emergency situations may be taken into account
Alternative: Credit for a charter could be granted at the discretion of the management
Conditions: Documentation needed for emergency circumstances
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety is our highest concern. If the skipper, who is certified, considers weather conditions unsafe for charter operations, we provide adaptable choices:
- Full Refund: Issued if it's not possible to reschedule
- Reschedule: Transfer your charter to another available time with no added fee
- Charter Credit: Issue a credit valid for one year from the original charter date
Weather Assessment Process
Our evaluation of the weather involves:
- Analyzing wind patterns and velocity
- Checking wave size and marine conditions
- Predicting visibility and rainfall
- Hearing alerts and advisories from the Coast Guard
- Professional skipper's safety assessment
Decision Timeline: Determinations regarding weather cancellations are made no more than 4 hours prior to the set sail time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Conditions
We are aware that medical crises can arise. The situations below may be eligible for extra consideration:
- An unexpected medical condition or injury requiring hospital stay
- A member of the immediate family passing away
- Military duty or urgent recall
- Summoned for jury service or by a court subpoena
- Natural catastrophes impacting travel
Documentation Expectations
For handling requests for emergency refunds, we need:
- Medical statement or records from the hospital
- Certificate of death (if relevant)
- Official military deployment orders
- Legal summons or notice for jury duty
- Urgent travel guidelines or declarations
Processing: Requests for refunds due to emergencies are processed within 3-5 working days after we receive the requisite paperwork.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Failures
Should the vessel allocated to you encounter irreparable mechanical issues:
- Substitute Vessel: We'll try to supply an equal alternative
- Complete Refund: Provided when no appropriate substitute is found
- Partial Refund: If the replacement vessel has a different pricing structure
- Compensation: Additional recompense might be extended for the inconvenience faced
Crew Unavailability
In the uncommon instance that a qualified crew is not available:
- Alternate crew will be arranged, if feasible
- Complete refund if the trip is unable to proceed
- Rescheduling at no added expense
Refund Processing
Reimbursement Mode
Refunds are returned via the same payment method utilized for the original booking:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

€50 charge for cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance
Bank Transfer Handling
€25 charge for all refunds via bank transfer

Charter Credits
Scenarios for Credit Issuance
In certain situations, charter credits might be given rather than direct refunds:
- For late cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
- Due to weather-related cancellations
- At the customer's request for schedule changes
- Should there be service disruptions
Terms Associated with Credits
- Validity: 12 months from the date of issuance
- Transferability: They cannot be transferred to others
- Amount: Equivalent to the full value of the charter (exempt of processing charges)
- Redemption: Applicable to any charter that is available
- Lifespan: There can be no extensions past 12 months
Partial Service Refunds
Disruptions in Service
In the event that your voyage is interrupted or cut short by factors within our control:
- Refund amount calculated based on the unused portion
- A credit that matches the value of a future trip
- Free additional services or upgrades
Issues Caused by Guests
If a charter is finished before time because of the actions or safety breaches of a guest:
- No reimbursement for the remainder not used
- The full payment will still be required
- Potential extra fees
Resolution of Disputes
In cases where you dispute a refund decision, you can:
- Ask for the management team to reconsider
- Submit further proof or documentation
- Seek help from consumer protection bodies
- Proceed with legal action in accordance with relevant laws

We will acknowledge receipt of your claim within a day, assess it in line with our policy, and notify you of the outcome within 48 hours; if approved, your refund will be processed as per the timeframes listed.

- Refunds are processed in € regardless of the original currency used for payment
- We highly recommend taking out travel insurance
- This policy can be modified given a 30-day notice
